Practice Accountant

DKF Accountants are looking for a qualified ACA for a Part Time accounts preparation role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for a portfolio of clients across all industry sectors SME´s
  • Accounts and financial statements preparation and submission
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and file Corporation Tax and
  • Income Tax returns with Revenue
  • VAT analysis
  • Auditor
  • Any other related duties
Requirements:
  • ACA
  • Demonstrable knowledge of reconciliation process
  • Proficient with Accountancy systems (SAGE) and excellent ability in MS Excel
  • Goal orientated with a proven track record of consistently meeting strict deadlines
  • Experience of payroll processes and practices
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
Trainee Accountant

If you are a motivated and ambitious graduate looking to be part of a graduate program you will be expected to receive the best training and work experience available.

The role:
  • Auditing client accounts
  • Preparation of tax returns
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Assisting with account preparation
  • Cash management and anti-money laundering duties
  • Client liaison
  • Ad hoc work as required by management
The successful candidate:
  • A minimum of 400 points in the Leaving Certificate
  • Expect to achieve a 2.1 or higher honours degree - Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics
  • A strong aptitude for figures
  • A strong focus on customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill to interact with clients on a daily basis
  • Dedicated and determined to chase their career in accountancy

Bookkeeper

This position would ideally suit an adaptable and driven person who can join a busy accounting firm. You must have previous practice experience working in a similar environment.

Main responsibilities:
  • Delivering a quality bookkeeping service and advice to clients.
  • Review of/preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Preparation of VAT Returns.
  • Preparation of Monthly Creditors list. Processing Payroll.
  • Client Operational Support.
The ideal candidate needs to possess the following:
  • The ability to work independently, using your own initiative to support clients required.
  • An ability to develop and enhance client relationships through excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and with limited supervision.
  • High attention to detail.
Other Details:
  • 1 year experience in a similar role, practice experience is essential.
  • Experience working for multiple clients in a firm.
  • Management Accounts experience. Payroll & VAT experience.
